Who are Bespoke Detail?
Bespoke Detail was founded by the owner and sole operator Alex Wood. Alex has been in the industry for 12 years and has worked and collaborated with some of the most talented detailers in the world. His expertise come from years of development and understanding within the rotary paint correction world as well as having industry leading knowledge in high solids ceramic coatings and how they actually work.
Alex is a multi award winning automotive detailer who also has collected accolades in the industrial and commercial world for his knowledge of protective coatings.
Bespoke Detail also operates from a centre of excellence which is within Livingston, West Lothian. This is a fully secured 1300sq ft studio which is fully alarmed and equipped with state of the art CCTV for peace of mind while your pride and joy is being transformed. Alex also trains some of the UK’s most talented detailers within the centre of excellence.
Bespoke Detail pride themselves on being able to offer you the finest automotive paint correction in the industry as well as having a knowledge of protective coating systems which is second to none. Our bespoke studio also allows us to provide everything from maintenance details to underbody coatings and everything in between!

Bespoke Detail is a master accredited detailer by the world famous IGL Coatings. Bespoke Detail can offer every protective coating available from paint coatings to underbody coatings.
Our work has also been recognised by receiving awards within the detailing industry including numerous accreditations. Our clients have also attended car shows with vehicles we have prepared and claimed awards for the standard of their vehicles.
Bespoke Detail is also a trainer in the full range of IGL Coatings and high speed rotary techniques.
Studio
After years of working from a bespoke built studio at Alex’s house the company grew quickly and efficiently and is now transitioning to working in a bespoke unit in Livingston. We are able to undertake work on three vehicles within the unit and have bespoke built areas such as an indoor wash bay for the safest preparation possible as well as being able to install underbody coatings in a safe and efficient manner.
We are fully insured for all areas of work we undertake and every security precaution has been undertaken from alarms to state of the art CCTV and heat detection systems.
Enhancement Detail
Single stage paint enhancement detail with the goal of creating gloss and preparing the vehicle surface for application of ceramic coatings.
Correction Detail
Award winning paint correction, we offer services to suit your needs from minor to major corrections to take your car above anything else on the road.
Protection Detail
Entry level package for those who want to experience a ceramic coated car. We prepare the vehicle through decontamination stages and machine work to accept ceramic coatings.
Ceramic Coatings
The ultimate in vehicle protection. We only install fully warrantied IGL Coatings within our studio. TUV and ISO 9001 tested.
